I'm a graduate of HAS University of Applied Sciences in Den Bosch, The Netherlands, and I moved to Canada 22 years ago. I have over 30 years of experience in commercial horticulture across Europe and North America. I worked for large investment firms, where I was responsible for the full operation of commercial greenhouse facilities producing tomatoes, strawberries, cucumbers, and peppers. At my most recent employer, where I spent 22 years, I oversaw all departments, from production and finance to labor management. I also helped design, build, and operate one of Canada’s first Co-Gen projects. My expertise includes plant physiology, organic chemistry, climate control, and all stages of crop production from seeding to harvest, along with horticultural finance, workforce recruitment through Canada’s farm programs, and a strong international network of industry experts.
